Writer's Block: Fan love

Ah, this one is simple. Buffy Summers. I may be obsessed with other things right now, but Buffy was the first fandom I truly loved and appreciated. A character like Buffy proved a young woman could do awesome things and that was inspiring to young me when I started watching. And it's because of Buffy that I got into writing. Buffy fanfic was the first thing I ever wrote and posted anywhere. Thankfully, the website where I posted is gone so those early forays are lost to time. :-) I think that made a bigger impact on my life than anything. I don't know what I would be doing if I wasn't writing something every day. Probably bored out of my skull.

As for the memorabilia? Well, you should see my bookshelf. Filled with Buffy books and comics. And then there are the DVDs. And the action figures I have kicking around my closet. I even have an old folder full of articles about Buffy. I must have tore through every teen magazine known to man just to grab pictures. Sigh. Those were the days.

Sounds similar to me, and love your answer, esp the "those were the days" like really wasnt life better in the days of Buffy on tv?

I'm also obsessed with so many shows but Buffy is just, untouchable.
