I'm only familiar with Mark Gatiss' Doctor Who stuff (which are kind of ho hum in my opinion), but his episode here was amazing. I can see why the episodes needed to be 90 minutes long. Any shorter and it would have felt like they were rushing everything. There was just enough energy in "The Great Game" to keep it going and when you reach the lull near the end you're like, "Oh, that's it?" And then it hits you over the head with the ending. :-)

I didn't realize the TV score was written before Sherlock Holmes. But you're right; both scores rock.
