One observation: Space-suit little Melody was searching for help to escape...the suit? The Silent aliens? Kovarian and the start of training? Because she didn't seem as single-mindedly whacky as Little Mels in Leadworth. Melody got out of the suit and avoided the people who would have helped her...reached NYC, knew she was dying, and regenerated into a toddler Mels.
Who, yeah, was found by Kovarian, placed in Leadworth at the proper time to be her parents' BFF and also ensure they wound up a couple? And to learn about the Doctor from those who knew him well? Was Mels being trained all that time? Were her wild history class answers lies fed to her to fuel her hatred of the Doctor?
