And through no fault of my own. At least, that's how I see it. Got a phone call from the employment agency saying I'm being cut loose from Ghostpine. Their wording was I wasn't a "good fit." Doesn't help that the person who was training me quits (or gets fired) and I'm suddenly on my own trying to figure out things. I mean, I had a month of training before I got left on my own. That's really not enough time to learn the ropes. Sigh. Can you really expect one person to handle the workload and have no one else there to double check everything? I would have had a system down given enough time.

Whatever. The company is just digging itself a deeper hole. Now they have no one to work on their documents and even if they hire another temp or hire someone full time they still have to train them. Of course now there's no one to train the new person so they're even more screwed. I wonder what will happen Monday morning. I had a rush on something yesterday and it barely got out the door. If I was "let go" because of that, jeez. Also would have been nice if the company had told me I was being let go, not the employment agency. You can have all the secret meetings you want, but you could at least tell me personally. I wouldn't have made a scene, honest.

I had today off at least. I suppose if I had worked today they would have told me and then maybe sent me home. Who knows.

But that crafty employment agency. They already have something else lined up. Not that I want to do the job their offering, but it's the thought that counts.
