Blargh. That pretty much sums it up.

Got news today I'm being extended by a month on my current project. While continued employment is awesome and all, I'm feeling more "bleh" about it. This project just keeps dragging on and on. There are three of us left in my department and we all just want to move onto newer and better things. I want to move to the office thirty minutes from my house, but alas, it's not in the cards at the moment.

And we've been so busy lately I haven't been able to buy a gift for my friend's birthday party this Friday. My friends and I, we're all turning a significant age this year so I want to get her something, but I just don't know what. And I was also a week late with birthday wishes. I've never been this disorganized before. Dumb job.

Thank goodness I'm going on vacation in a week. Whoo, (sometimes) sunny Vancouver and a Stargate con!

Also, I finally picked up Doctor Who: The Writer's Tale: The Final Chapter (wow, that's a lot of colons) and I miss the weight and the glossy pages of the first one. But I still love reading about the crazy behind-the-scenes shenanigans the show went through. Russell seriously does come up with all of his cracktastic ideas from out of nowhere. :-)
