Doctor: Where did you get a sonic screwdriver?
Amy: I made it. And it's a sonic probe.
- "The Girl Who Waited"
A new accessory to go with my "The Girl Who Waited" costume. Not as brilliant as Amy's, but seeing as I spent zero dollars on this, it's pretty good:

It's Lego, rubber bands, silver ducting tape, and two wires. I used this picture as reference since you never really see a clear shot of the sonic probe in the episode.
I had wanted to build Amy's sonic probe back when I first made my Old!Amy costume, but I ran out of time. It's funny, really. I haven't touched my Lego collection in ages, but I just knew I had the components I needed. I'm actually quite pleased with how this turned out. There was no way I was going to be able to build the prop properly with a dummy cell phone, copper wire, and other junk in a month, so this is a wonderful compromise.
So I think I will dust off my Old!Amy armour for next month. Always nice to get more mileage out of a costume.
