Further proof Doctor Who and Firefly exist in the same universe

So while watching an episode of Doctor Who called "Warriors' Gate" I noticed something interesting.


This is the ship from the episode. Is it just me or doesn't it look a lot like...


Serenity? The engines on the side of ship are a bit different, but the basic shape is the same.

I like to think it's a Firefly, only a later production model. ;-)

Well, Warrior's Gate is part of the E-Space trilogy, so you could totally make it personal canon that E-Space is the Firefly-verse.

Was the ship in "Warriors' Gate" from E-Space or N-space? A surprising number of ships seem to fall into E-Space. Maybe an old Firefly got sucked in through a CVE. :-D
