Random fic idea for the day

The idea of Rory travelling around the world with the Pandorica during those 2000 years totally appeals to me. Where did he end up while trying to get home (because the timeline in "The Big Bang" clearly shows that the Pandorica got around)?

Naturally, I'm inclined to think that Rory ended up in Canada. Heck, maybe he even helped with Confederation. :-) Somehow this led to me making this image:

It's not exactly perfect, Rory stands out like a sore thumb no matter what I do, but I still love the idea. And it's an awesome photo on its own. It's John A. Macdonald. He's just sitting all casual and pretty, with his hat resting on his knee. He was totally posing.

Doctor Who needs to have a story set in Canada. Just saying. :-D

Hah! Cool! I like the idea of a Canadian story, yes!

Also, I think maybe Rory was on Inspector Spacetime for those years ;)

Rory does stand out a little, but it's always very hard to insert modern footage in really old photos, ironically harder than in modern, clearer photos... I guess giving it just exactly the right quality of not-perfectness is hard. Still a great job!

And yeah, Who definitely needs a Canadian adventure (apparently we were thinking along those lines at the exact same time!)

Doctor Who was co-created by a Canadian. :-)

I saw an Inspector Spacetime thing, spoofing "The Day of the Moon", "Night of the Sun" I think, and it had Rory in it. I love fandom.

I blurred the heck out of him, but it only went so far. I ended up sort of distressing the photo in the hopes it would cover up some of Rory's sore thumb-ness.

Exciting things happen in Canada. Occasionally. Sort of. Um, we're polite!
