Or just go the Third Doctor route; make up a catchall phrase that sounds science-y and smart: "Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow." :-)
I think technobabble is the one problem with sci-fi. The science is fake science for the most part, so your characters have to sound like they know what they're saying to make it seem like the science is important and believable.
