I'm of two minds about the finale... I had guessed about what the music signified, so that wasn't a surprise, but I too am not a fan of court episodes. Bleah. Bleah. Bleah. I dunno... I found the initial renewed tension between Adama and Lee last episode to be a little forced, considering how far they've come in the last three years, it seemed to be more of a plot convenience than anything else.
But I loved the Adama/Roslin moment at the beginning too, that was great. I admit, I'm all over Kara/Lee (and I've hated D ever since she dumped Billy in that oh-so-obvious-Billy's-going-to-die episode) so I was glad to see Starbuck back, like we didn't know she'd be back.
Unfortunately for me, having grown up listening to Jimi Hendrix's version of All Along the Watchtower, I much prefer that, and I was kinda like WTF? where is that song, from our culture, fitting into their culture?? *shrug*
