Sigh, vacation's over.

I don't think I've ever had an entire week off from work before. As expected, there was a pile of stuff waiting for me and I got stuck doing all of it since the other admin couldn't make it in. Oh well, such is life, right?

Not much to say right now. Just happy to be home. I don't travel well. I like familiar things. Going to new places, while fun, is sort of nerve-wracking, too.

On a completely frivolous note, I bought something for my cubicle while in Boston. A TARDIS! Okay, it's a USB hub that is shaped like the TARDIS, but close enough, right? I was poking around a comic book store and there had a bunch of Doctor Who stuff. I was tempted to buy the action figure set with all 11 Doctors, but that seemed a little excessive, even for me. But now I have something geeky for my desk. :-)

And now I need to catch up on a week's worth of TV and LJ...

I don't think the action figure set is excessive. You can use them for a multi doctor fic writing prompt. It's all about art. :D

I'd buy them. I wish there were comic stores around me that had Doctor Who stuff! I still don't have my sonic screwdriver. :: sob ::

btw- that does sound like a drink: a Sonic Screwdriver. Perhaps you mix vodka and orange juice and then hit the edge of the glass with a spoon?

You could act out a multi-Doctor story if you had the action figure set. But even if I had bought the set, I wouldn't have opened the box. I tend to do that with action figures.

I think if you did make a Sonic Screwdriver drink, it would have to be blue. Or green. :-)

I play with toys. I don't care how collectible they are. :D When I moderated a bulletin board for Ron Moore (from Trek) he sent me a script, autographed. All the rarer because he was the uncredited writer of the episode. I read it. I had my kids read it. We read along with the episode and compared differences. It's all dog earred now, and I think has a coffee stain on it. I Just *have* to open things in bags or boxes.
