Cubicles are boring. I just want to say that now. I don't see how people can spend week in and week out in them.
Okay, so I only spent the day in one, but it's a strange new experience. I should mention now that the employment agency found me a job for three days formatting the continuing education guide for one of the universities. It was just me, a computer, and a cubicle. It's so weird. You have walls but they don't keep the sound out. No door either. Plus my back was to the entrance so I couldn't see if anyone was hanging out behind me.
But I'm pretty impressed by how fast the employment agency found me a job. Working for three days is better than sitting around trying to find something. Just now, I'm dead tired because I'm not used to sitting in front of a computer for hours on end without something else to amuse me, like the Internet or fanfic. It's just two more days, maybe three if the formatting takes longer than expected.
And I get to see Inara and Saffron on Sunday! That's worth something. :-D
