Aside from the whole no internet or outside e-mail thing, work isn't so bad. I'm pretty sure I know everyone's name now. ;-) When there's no work to do the day just drags by, but when we're busy the hours just whip by. I really like that. You're not watching the clock, counting down the hours. If I'm going to be at this job for awhile, going to work shouldn't be a drag. I'm not overjoyed that I have to cover reception sometimes, but there usually isn't a flood of phone calls so it's not too bad.

It's kind of funny how often they keep asking me how everything is. It's happened every week now. I don't know if it means I'm coming off as a kind of grump or what. I don't speak up a lot but I'm not complaining either. The work's got to be done so I might as well get to it. It's just hard trying to get a rhythm down. My weekday is pretty much: get up, eat breakfast, go to work, come home, eat, sleep, get up again. I'm still learning what I can do after work and what can wait until the weekend.

But it's so nice having the weekends free again. Sometimes I'm overcome with the feeling that I should be doing something. The left off university mentality is taking its sweet time wearing off. I feel like I should get out more now that I have the time, rather than sitting around at home and playing video games. Meh. I'll get around to it some day.

Oh, and I can read books again. Interesting, non school books. If anyone has suggestions for stuff I should check out, suggest away. I want to have a book on the go as often as I can.

Thank goodness for employment agencies. That's all I have to say. :-)
