It's monkey work (re: data entry) but this job's closer to home and it's with an engineering company. One of the benefits of living in an oil and gas city; 1 out of 3 employers is probably an engineering company. :-D And one upside to working with engineers: Fridays off. Well, not every Friday, but one Friday off every month. Not as nice as my dad's company, where they get the first and third Friday off, but still, a day off. I have to work 8.5 hours a day but I've done it before.
Still have to work two months before they hire me on for real, so it's the same deal. Also can't surf the internet, they've blocked all the good sites, but I should have a real e-mail so I can at least send off personal e-mails if I need to.
Though, I did enjoy sitting around the house doing nothing for a few days.
