Looking for something to read...

I have a week and a bit off from work for the holidays, which means plenty of time for me to read, write, play video games, and watch DVDs. Since the books my book club's been choosing lately have been less than inspiring, I figured I would turn to my flist for some good book suggestions. So if you've read a really good book lately, let me know and I'll check it out. My only condition is no best sellers. I usually try to avoid the popular books, plus popular books are hard to get from the library since all the copies will be out.

And preair versions of Stargate Atlantis' final two episodes are floating around on the Internet. I must resist!
