Well, this sucks

Sounds like Doctor Who has started filming again. That's about the highlight of my day. :-P

So out of the blue, the other admin on my project tells me that she's leaving the company. At the end of the week. And we have Friday off.

Um, thanks for warning?

Actually, it's not her fault. I assume she gave the company her two week's notice. It's our administrative manager's fault for not letting me know sooner. My other manager, the procurement one, only found out Friday that he was losing an employee. Yeah, something's not right here. I don't know why the lines of communication broke down so badly. It still sucks either way. I'm stuck training the new girl and I'm already working on two projects. I really hope that the new admin is a quick learner. I remember training the now departing admin and she never wrote anything down. Learning by osmosis doesn't work.

So basically, I'll be working four projects until the new admin learns the ropes. Bleh.
