About time they made an announcement, but I guess they wanted to include it in the overall press release.

But another season of Peggy kicking ass. Whoo! I can't wait. Too bad we have to wait until 2016 to see any of the new episodes. Ugh, that's too far away. Still, I'm glad that ABC made the right (and only) choice. With the Captain Marvel movie a few years away, Agent Carter is the only female led vehicle Marvel has right now.

Oh, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. got renewed, too, which is good, but I was happier to hear about Agent Carter's renewal. Sounds like this means the Mockingbird spin-off that was in the works is on hold. No offence to Bobbi, but I'm glad to hear it. A spin-off with her and Hunter would just be more S.H.I.E.L.D. related antics and AoS still needs to find its feet.

On the DC front, CBS ordered a full season of Supergirl and the CW renewed iZombie. The CW also picked up the Arrow/Flash spin-off, to the surprise of no one. The spin-off finally has a name, too: Legends of Tomorrow. The title is bleh but the premise sounds cool. Annoyingly, we'll have to wait until midseason to see this show, too.

Hmm, I wonder if we'll get more crossovers, across all three shows.

So my fall TV season looks like this (so far):
Castle
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The Flash
iZombie
Arrow
Supergirl
Agent Carter
(midseason)
Legends of Tomorrow (midseason)

Heh, Castle is the only non-comic book show. I don't know what that says about me or the state of television.

Now to see if there are any new shows worth watching...
