Yeah, now that everything is over, I don't have to stress about work and I have some time to relax. It'll be a nice, mini vacation. Too bad the weather isn't vacation weather...
I would say Jessica Jones is a bit like Veronica Mars. It's not super gritty and there are still lighter moments in the series. With that said, the tone is kind of dark because of what happened in Jessica's past. I haven't seen too much of David's performance yet, but it's refreshing to see him in the villain role. He can definitely pull it off.
Geeks rule everything now, so having played a Doctor was probably to David's advantage. Millions of people saw his acting chops. I read he was always the first choice to play the villain when they were developing Jessica Jones back in 2011.
I can't imagine Matt playing a villain, but I'm sure he would be brilliant at it. Hey, maybe he'll get hired on by Marvel.
