My god, it's only Friday and I'm already wiped. I'm getting old.
But it was a fun day. Kicked off the day with the Parade of Wonders (POW). The weather, thank goodness, was sunny and windy, but no rain. Once again, there was a group of Doctor Who cosplayers and to our great surprise and delight, we were placed right behind John Barrowman, who was one of the parade marshals. So this was our view for the entire parade:

Not that I'm complaining. ;-) But John was super nice, as always. When the car had to stop, he let us take selfies with him. He also waved and talked to the little kids who had lined the street to watch the parade, though sometimes he unintentionally scared them. I can't speak for the rest of the media guests in the parade, but I think John had the best time. And he wore the white hat that was given to him back in 2013. He remembered to bring the hat! A true gentleman.
Oh, and at a couple of points in the parade, John's car got behind, so the car had to speed up and we had to chase after it to keep pace. So we can all say that we got to chase after John Barrowman. :-)

Some of the Who cosplayers.

And there's me on the right! This one is from the expo's Facebook page. We were patiently waiting for the rest of the parade participants to enter the plaza.
So after the parade, I headed back to the convention grounds to get Clark Gregg's autograph. A stupid error on me and my friend's part had us missing Clark Gregg during his first round of autographs. My friend was nice enough to stay in line to keep our spot while I ran off to watch Clark's panel. Then I hightailed it back to get back into line. Clark made it back before me and I made it back just in time to get my autograph. Whew.
Clark had a great panel. He freely admits that he's a big geek and he just loves what he does. They wrapped season three of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. about a day or so ago so it was really nice of him to come up to attend the expo. At one point, a guy dressed like Wolverine asked him a question and Clark kidded that he didn't know who he was and what a mutant was. Ah, Marvel Cinematic Universe vs Fox's X-Men Universe jokes.
Oh, and Clark is Team Cap. I imagine Coulson would also be Team Cap.
Once I got Clark's autograph I had some time to kill (I decided to skip the William Shatner panel; I'll see him in Las Vegas). A local yarn store has a booth at the expo this weekend so I tracked them down. The selection wasn't awesome, but they did have this:

Fourth Doctor scarf kits! The colours are really good actually. The people at the booth said they did their best to try to match the colours. They even have the brown right; it's heathered as opposed to one solid colour. Oh, and the yarn is superwash wool, too, so you can actually wash the scarf. I regret not getting washable wool. My scarf is probably covered in dust from the wind today.

I stopped by my friend's art booth to snap a pic. He was Seven to my Ace last year.
After Clark's photo-op I stopped by the Star Trek: Voyager panel with Garrett Wang and Robert Duncan Macneil. It was actually really fun. Garrett so knows how to play to a crowd and Robert Duncan Macneil had some funny stories.
I'm hopeful it'll be a shorter day tomorrow. I have to get Billie Piper's autograph and photo-op, but the rest of the day I could spend in the big panel room. A day of sitting would be awesome.
