Whew, made it to the end! Four fantastic days of geeking out. I need a Time Turner or a TARDIS; there weren't enough hours in the day to see all of the awesomeness.

I started off the day by getting Nathan Fillion's autograph. I hadn't planned it into the budget, but when I saw that I had just enough money left over, how could I not take the chance to see him again?

And my god, this man is a national treasure. He greeted his line and then he waved to the people standing in Jeremy Renner's line, which was a table away. He asked them to say hi to Jeremy for him. :-D When I got up to him, I thanked him for coming back to the expo but then he thanked me for coming back to see him. And he didn't say it in an ironic sort of way; he was totally geninue. See, Canadians could probably thank each other back and forth for hours. Oh, and he even remembered the exact year he was here last (2013). Even I couldn't remember the exact year.

This was the action figure I bought from ThinkGeek (that they had to sent twice because of my order fiasco) and it was well worth the hassle. Also, he has the prettiest signature. Just look at it! The N and F are all loopy and the rest is so neat. Excellent penmanship.

With that done, I made my way over to The Flash panel with Danielle Panabaker and Candice Patton. Iris is not my favourite character on the show, but Candice Patton provided some very thoughtful and interesting answers. The writers really don't know what to do with Iris, but at least the actress gives some in-depth thought to her performance.

Yes, Garrett Wang again. He doesn't watch The Flash so he admitted he binge watched about 38 episodes in two days to prepare for this panel. Now that's dedication. He could have just coasted his way through the panel, just fielding questions from the audience, but the fact that he didn't shows that he takes this celebrity moderating very seriously.

No spoilers about who Savitar is, but apparently we'll find out on the upcoming episode. Fans are speculating that it's Ronnie aka Firestorm. They based this idea solely on Caitlin's reaction in the last episode, where she was so quick to agree to work with Savitar. If it's true, that's a real bummer. I want Ronnie to come back as himself, not a delusional speed god. And speaking of Ronnie, Danielle Panabaker said she imagined Flashpoint Caitlin as being happily married to Ronnie and with a kid. Aw...

The next panel was Stan Lee's. Now, last year, Stan Lee said that 2016 would be his last year travelling to Canada for cons. Fan Expo in Toronto was supposed to be his last official Canadian con. Well, Stan Lee is a big liar. ;-) Actually, the only reason he came back was because the expo got Todd McFarlane as a guest. I knew Todd McFarlane was Canadian but I never realized that he was from here, so it was a big deal that he was a guest this year. A big enough deal that Stan Lee came out of retirement for one last go to hang out with Todd.

This panel was so funny. Stan Lee was just so mean with Todd McFarlane. You know, in the way you're cruel with friends; the jokes and insults were all in good fun. Some of the stories he told were the same ones from last year, but hey, the man is 94; he has the right to tell whatever stories he wants. Oh, and he claims his favourite cameo is the one from Age of Ultron, the one where he's the veteran drinking with Thor and Steve. Why is it his favourite? It's because he got to do two scenes instead of just one. :-D

I wandered off afterwards to talk to artist friend at his booth and to see his Newt Scamander cosplay (complete with the scarf I made for him!) and he had another great story about meeting Colm Meany in the hotel last night. Man, my friends get up to crazy fun things when I'm not there. Anyway, after we chatted, I left to go back to the panel room and on the way I saw these guys:

Actually, to be more accurate, I saw the guy dressed as Drack, on the left, trying to get in through the doors, which you can see behind them. Look at the doors. Now look at Drack. Yeah, the doors were not big enough to fit his cosplay. Poor guy had to really hunch down to get in and hunching is not easy in that costume. Those dang krogans with their big humps. :-D These guys, plus two others in their group, won Best in Show in the costume contest last night. I guess that means they were the best costumes overall? Is that how Best in Show works? It is the same as the Westminster Dog Show? Anyway, awesome cosplay, but I'm sad I didn't see all four of them together.

By the time I made it back to the panel room, the panel with Adrian Paul had already started. Now, the expo had originally booked both Adrian Paul and Christopher Lambert. They were going to do photo ops together and the panel, too. But then Christopher Lambert had to cancel last minute, due to a family emergency, so Adrian Paul was stuck on his own. Shame really. I think the two of them together would have been an awesome panel.

Adrian Paul looks mighty fine if you ask me. Look at those arms!

Last panel of the day for me was Jeremy Renner's panel. He was a real delight. Funny and playful and he never stumbled for an answer.

So the moderator, Tanner, brought up Stephen Amell and how the last time he was here, he was asked who would win in a fight: Hawkeye or Green Arrow? Renner didn't want to commit to an answer, so he joked and said, "Godzilla". Yup, Godzilla would totally trounce Clint and Ollie.

Renner said he's off to film Infinity War in a few weeks but obviously he couldn't say anything about it. But it is confirmation that Clint is in it! Oh, and if you go to Renner's Instagram, you can see that he did a photo with Stan Lee while he was here.

Sigh, it's back to work and reality tomorrow. At least now I can rest my feet. Whoo, sensible shoes and not shoes for cosplay!
