Well,
goldy_dollar started it. Thoughts on the "Coming Soon" trailer for the second half of the season!
All of this is pure speculation on my part so I don't want to know if I'm close or way off the mark. Good thing about these trailers is that everything is out of context. You have no idea what's going on until you see the episode.

Going through the trailer frame by frame (yes, I'm that much of a geek), it seems like the bulk of the trailer is from the next two episodes "Silence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead". You can tell from the Doctor's suit, blue with a black shirt. Actually, by looking at the Doctor's suit, you can pick out the individual episodes for the most part. But that's not the point of the trailer...

Rose, with a honking space gun! I'm sort of reminded of Mickey with his space gun at the end of "Army of Ghosts".

Though, Mickey wasn't walking away from giant explosions that were going off in the background. Who knows what Rose is up to.

But the super interesting part is the fact that the Doctor knows Rose is coming back. I was expecting they were going to run into each other on the street in the middle of the crisis and have an excited and emotional moment. This scene between the Doctor and Donna feels like it's from the end of an episode. They've found out something is coming, something big and bad, and Rose is chasing after it or something, but Donna takes a moment to reflect on the good. Can't you just see the episode ending on the Doctor's happy smile? I hope he isn't sadly disappointed when he does see Rose again. And this better be Rose and not some evil twin or something.

Doctor fashion faux pas. Sigh. I thought the collar of his shirt being on the outside of the suit jacket was just a blue suit thing but now it's migrated to the brown suit. I really love the Doctor's casual look and they should do it more often, but please for the love of cute puppies, put the collar under the suit jacket.

And Daleks. What a shocker. Can't we go a season without the Daleks? Looks like Dalek Caan has been busy. Maybe the shadowy Dalek from the end of the trailer is Dalek Caan. And then the Doctor can shout "Caan!!" :-)

This shot interests me. That clearly looks like Donna to the right of frame there. Rose seems to be running, shouting the Doctor's name. Another scene in the trailer has the two of them talking, so it feels like this is how Donna meets Rose. In the middle of street. Is it me, or does a police car seem to be chasing Rose?

For a second it looked like the Doctor was travelling between realities here, but a close look at his suit and it seems this shot is from the two parter. Looks like the Doctor is travelling through the Time Vortex actually.

And the TARDIS is on fire! Looks like the same episode as the "Rose is coming back, isn't that a good thing?" scene.

Shadowy!Dalek. I'm tempted to lighten up this shot just to see if I can see anything. Could be it's Dalek Caan, but why the big reveal like this? You can't tell one Dalek from another for the most part. I want to say it's Davros for some odd reason. Yes, last time we saw him he was just a head, but who knows.
So a darkness is coming and it's wiping out stars. Presumably that's the thing that's been wiping out planets all season. I hope it's something cool, like a entity that devours planets. Hmm, that sounds a lot like Galactus... Okay, maybe not, but an idea of something similar.
