Writer's Block: Novel Ideas

Since I never got around to deciding if I wanted to do NaNoWriMo or not, I guess I'm sitting this year out. I am going ahead with the idea to write a bit of fic everyday though, just to see where it takes me. I did write about 1667 words today, just to see how bad it is, and it's not too bad as long as you have an idea of what you want to write. If you're just writing words I think it'll be difficult to make a daily quota.

I've always liked your idea of doing your own version of NaNo. You're not under the same time restraint, but you still end up with a piece of work. :-)

It is indeed a Doctor Who fic. I've been playing around with the idea of doing another story in an AU I did for another fic, so I figured why not start it now.

So you can claim to be doing NaNo vicariously through me this year.

Oooh, I like that. You can tell me what it's like and I can make a decision for next year. In the mean time, I can cheer you on from the sidelines. Whoo, 2300 words! Great start. :-D

Well, who wants to write when you're having fun with friends? :-) I wasn't home myself until later yesterday so even if I had decided to NaNo, it would have been a slow start.

Weekends sound like a good place to catch up. Unless you can get away with writing at work. ;-)
