I have a job for the next two months!

The project I'm currently on is beginning to shut down but there's still a ton of work to be done and not enough people to do it, so the client company decided to keep me on. Actually, that's not completely true. One of my co-workers decided I need to stay around and he went off and spoke with the client company asking if they could extend my time with the project. So I totally owe this guy my job. I keep hearing too that this project won't be done in two months so I could be with the project until the end of the year. Hopefully by then the economy has picked up and the company has some other jobs.

So next week I get to move buildings and spend my days scanning and filing until the cows come home. While busy is good, I probably won't be able to write as much while at work. Sigh. Being a slacker is so much more fun.

Ooooh! I'm sorry you don't get to be a slacker, but on the other hand, MONEY. *cue Flying Lizards* :D

Yeah, money, definitely more important and I can write during my lunch hour if I want to. Though, all of our supervisors are off the project, so there's no one looking over our shoulders. :-)

Oh for sure. This project feels like the project that just won't end, so two months could easily turn into four. And with six people left in our department, stuff's not exactly going to be done in a timely fashion. So I'm definitely not complaining.
