Whoo, they changed the rules for my company's 1500 km challenge! Now you can win prizes if you only gain steps by just walking.
I think peoplecomplained commented that the competition was a little lopsided, since you have people who do all sorts of sports and then you have people who aren't that active but try to be. I mean, there's no way I could compete with people training for marathons and stuff like that, so I'm very happy the company made things a little easier. Just walking I can manage. I'm not a sporty person.
Now, all I can think about is doing this so I can get my step count up:

I wish this was an icon. Anyone know of one?
I still doubt I will win, but at least now I can dream that I have a chance. ;-)
(Incidentally, I've accumulated 239,100 steps in 21 days. That's 191.2 km or 118.8 miles.)

But yeah, that's the problem with animated icons. You do lose a lot of the detail once you shrink it. I'll try making the gif into an icon, too. I think it's an appropriate image for my posts about the challenge. :-)
