locker_monsterAh, Stampede. The only other time in the year, besides Christmas Eve, when I can leave work early. It's kind of sad, really. Thursday was the day of the client's Stampede party and I heard they started drinking at 7:30 in the morning. Then everyone effectively left work at 11:00 to start the party. Man, it was dead quiet in the rest of the building. At least I got to wear jeans to work for a full week.
Speaking of work, July 14th is my anniversary date at work, but since that's a Saturday this year, I thought I would do a post today (even though today was a day off, but oh well). Four years with the company. I'm still on the same project, but they keep adding sub-projects so it sounds like there'll be gainful employment for awhile. Can't complain, really. I still haven't really clicked with the other admin and I don't think I will, but at least she talks to me.
And one last thing about Stampede: the food. I had a cup of bacon today. So greasy, but so good. :-D
