Maybe TARDIS should stand for "Toque and Relative Dimension in Space" now... (thanks to
newnumber6 for the smart acronym)

Okay, so it's officially called a "laplander" not a toque, but I'm from Canada, so this is a toque. And, in my opinion, the perfect piece of merchandise for any Who fan who lives in a cold climate. You can keep your head warm and be geeky at the same time. :-D
It's kind of weird. I saw this hat online at the beginning of the week at ThinkGeek and I was overjoyed, but at the same time I was thinking to myself, "It's a shame I'll never find this in store somewhere..." And what do you know? I walk into one of the geekier stores in the mall today and they had a bunch just hanging from a hook.
The toque kind of looks like something the Doctor's mother would knit for him. Or maybe I'm just thinking of Jayne's hat from "The Message".
