locker_monster- All ready for new Doctor Who tomorrow! I have a viewing party to go to and I've made Doctor Who chocolates. I bought a mold when I was in London last year and I finally put it to use. I quite like it. The molds are small so the chocolates aren't huge chunks and it's quite easy to get the shapes out once the chocolate is cooled. So we have bite sized TARDISes, K9s and Daleks to snack on. :-D
- I saw the new 2015 Doctor Who calendars today at the comic book store and special edition wall calendar looks gorgeous. It's very similar to the 50th anniversary one from last year but now they have all twelve Doctors. One for each month! I was amused by the fact that Eight and the War Doctor have to share August. Though, it's nice that they include the War Doctor. There's also the regular wall calendar which has some pictures of Twelve. I may have to buy the special edition one just because it looks so pretty.
- So Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Arthur Darvill will be in Toronto next week for FanExpo. So jealous that they got all three of them. Interestingly, Matt will be in Montreal for another con a few weeks later. He must like Canada. That's three Canadian cons in six months. Considering that we don't have a ton of conventions here, that's pretty good.
- I really am excited for "Deep Breath". I've been reading Peter Capaldi interviews here and there and he sounds so cool. He has such respect for the show and the character. I mean, it's always exciting when they debut a new Doctor, but it just feels like he's bringing an extra something. I would love to see him and David Tennant together, fanboying over their shared love for the show.
