Fancy footwear

I really miss being able to check LJ throughout the day. I do have stuff that keeps me busy through the work day but it's so boring.

But enough moaning about work. I'm now a proud owner of a pair of navy Chucks. :-D My sister bought them for me last week as a a birthday present. I resisted the urge to buy a pair that are the same colour as the Doctor's.


I probably join a long line of fans who now have Chucks because of Ten. It's been a long time since I've owned a pair of high tops. They are comfortable though. I didn't just want a pair because of fandom reasons.

Haven't done any decent running in them yet. But if the Doctor can outrun Cybermen in a pair and Rocky can conquer a mountain of steps while wearing some then you know they're good. ;-)

The temptation to open up a window and surf around when things are slow is so hard to resist. I'm much happier when it's busy; less tempting to visit LJ.

Aren't Chucks wonderful? :-D
