Things I can't view on the Internet at work: blogs, personal e-mail, streaming video, networking sites.
Things I can view on the Internet at work: on-line shopping, io9.com, Penny Arcade, Doctor Who's official website, wikipedia.
This isn't a comprehensive list, but I think you get the basic idea. I can't interact with my friends, but I can buy stuff at work, read about various sci fi stuff, read a web comic with swearing, play Doctor Who games, and read up on just about anything. I really don't see how having a web content filter is supposed to improve productivity.
On a side note, come January 1st I'll be a permanent employee with the company, so good-bye employment agency. Thanks for all your help but I won't miss having to fax in a timesheet every week.
