So it was a year ago today I entered the exciting world of full time employment. Let's see, in one year I've moved offices three times (soon to be four at the end of the month), and that was just between the two buildings the company rents which are side by side, finished about 60% of the data entry I was hired to do, and probably demolished an entire forest with all the printing I've had to do. Oh, and I'm still employed. Yay!
And to celebrate I spent three hours on the phone listening to the data base guy talk non-stop. No wait, that's how I didn't celebrate...
When I really think about it, I'm glad I got "let go" from that other job at that environmental company. I know I wouldn't have been happy there. Here, with this job, I can slack off a bit, surf the Internet without restriction (mostly), and I can get away with writing when no one's looking. If that doesn't make part of the job worthwhile, then I don't know what does. :-D
