The Blog to Nowhere

Would anyone be willing to beta a Doctor Who fic? It's around 13,000 words long with Twelve and Clara as the main characters. I have a feeling the fic will be Moffat'd in season nine so I figured now would be a good time to get it looked at.

The fic is set in Ancient Rome, after the events of "The Fires of Pompeii". I really enjoyed writing the fic but I feel like not much happens, so it'd be great to get another opinion.

So... anyone willing to beta a Doctor Who fanfic that's over 180,000+ words? *looks around hopefully*

It's a fic about Rory and the 1800 years he spent guarding the Pandorica as the Lone Centurion, hence the large word count. I know it's a lot to take on, but I would be forever grateful for any assistance. There are no time restraints on this one. I don't need the fic to be postable by the end of the month or anything, but I really would like to see it posted at some point.

I've been putting this off for too long. I have four Doctor Who fics in a desperate need of a beta. If anyone's willing to look one or all of them over, I would be super grateful. There are two crossovers and two AUs.

- Crossover #1: Doctor Who/Buffy. Features Ten and Giles. Just under 17,000 words. It's set just before the season eight comics and post-"Last of the Time Lords". I don't think intimate knowledge of the season eight comics is required. Basic plot has the Doctor and Giles trying to stop some demons from destroying the world (naturally). Also features flashbacks to Classic Doctors so some knowledge of Classic Who is required.

- Crossover #2: Doctor Who/Firefly. Features Ten and Inara. Just over 19,000 words. Another installment of my A Different Kind of Companion series. Set post-Serenity the movie and post-"The Runaway Bride". Some allusions to "The End of Time". The Doctor and Inara try to unravel a mystery in the 51st century.

- AU #1: I've mentioned this one before. It's the season three AU featuring Rose and Martha; basically it was the Doctor who got stuck in Pete's World during "Doomsday" and this is Rose's story following that. It's grown to about 60,000 words. It's had a beta read before but that was before I re-wrote the last third of the story. Out of all four stories, this is the one I would like to see posted in the near future. I've been working on this one for awhile now, so it'd be nice to see it finished.

- AU #2: I'm not really sure how to describe this one. An alternative version of "The Eleventh Hour" set in Pete's World I suppose. Alt!Rory meets Rose, who's trying to get back to the Doctor as seen in season four, and the story sort of plays out as when Amelia met Eleven. This one is hard to describe without giving too much away. It's just under 11,000 words. Features Pete's World versions of Rory and Amy, but they're not that different from their mainstream counterparts. Set pre-"Turn Left". This one requires a good Britpick, too.
