Yay, I finished making my Old!Amy armour for the comic book expo. And with a week to spare! Whew.
It's not perfect, but for what it is, which is basically cardboard and tape, it's not half bad. Pictures to follow at some point. Now I just have to figure out how to get it to the expo, because I'm not riding transit while in costume. Hopefully I have a bag big enough to accommodate the armour. I don't want the thing getting damaged before I can wear it. How do cosplayers do it, transporting their costumes? I mean, I live in the city where the expo is being held. I couldn't imagine transporting a costume from another city or even from another country.
I also hope I can sit down without any troubles.
And I bought a photo-op with Patrick Stewart, so our family photo for the year is ready to go. I doubt we'll get to say much to Patrick Stewart, since I'm sure they'll be rushing people through, but at least we'll have the chance to stand in the same room as him. ;-)
