I was so annoyed when I got spoiled for this, but the awesomeness of the eight minutes has made up for it. :-D So nice to see some new Doctor Who.

Multiple Doctor stories are always so good. I just love it when past Doctors meet the current incarnation and they start to criticize who they've turned into ("So you're my replacements: a dandy and a clown."). Ten doesn't do that here, but his fanboyishness is just as amusing. Totally felt like Ten was channeling Steven Moffat and David Tennant. "You were my Doctor." Because who wouldn't be squeeing with delight if Peter Davison showed up. Nickel and Dime. :-D

Clever how they sneaked this in at the end of "Last of the Time Lords". The explanation for why Five looks older doesn't quite make sense, mainly because David speeds right through it, but hey, it's a special and it's for charity so who cares why Five is there as long as he's rushing about the TARDIS with Ten. "You changed the desktop setting! What is this? Coral?" Hee! And now we know how the interior of the TARDIS is able to change. Actually, it was a bit weird to see Five on the current TARDIS set; he belongs with the white walls and the scanner on the wall. And old school Who music! Techno 80s. Also cool that they got Graeme Harper to direct; just pulling out all the stops from Classic Who.

Some fine dialogue at the end, with Ten admitting how much he loved Five. Which really, is the Doctor declaring his love for himself. ;-) Cute, saying how Doctors One through Four were just starting out and "young" and by Five he had gained some wisdom and stopped trying to be all important and grumpy. Nice contrast to the fact that Five was the youngest of them all. It's never occurred to me just how much Five and Ten have in common: both young, both wearing the same kind of trainers, both wearing glasses. Great comment about the glasses. I think Five wore them like, twice, and then they disappeared so the specs are totally not needed but there to make the Doctor look smart. I guess this happens every fifth incarnation or so. ;-)

They so need to have more multiple Doctor stories. How about Eight, Nine, and Ten. That's doable, right?

I had to watch on youtube. I am just hoping I can the special and the confidential to download when I get home.

Are you referring to stuff on the BBC site then? I assume that is the confidential and it should be all over the web. I will be looking when I get home. (whenever that is(

I can only imagine though what it was like behind the scenes with all the fanboys. Makes you wonder if they will do anything with the concept of other incarnations of the doctor.

Where do you download from? I found the special and the Confidential over at mininova.org. I'm not that fond of youtube; the quality is never quite as good as downloading.

For whatever reason this year the CiN special can only be viewed from people if they live in the U.K. I guess the site can tell whether your IP is in the country or not. The first time Who did a CiN special you could watch it on the Internet no matter where you lived. Odd.

I would melt into a gooey puddle of fangirl happiness if they had other Doctors come back. :-D Or more old companions; it easier to introduce them into a story line. All you have to do is explain what they've been up to since they left the Doctor. No weird technobabble explaining why two Doctors are suddenly in the same place.

I assume you have email notification so I went ahead and removed the comment because of the info I shared. Nothing major, but just better that way. Still, let me know!

You know, I have never heard of that comm but it sounds like a great source. If you're willing to vouch, that would totally be cool. I'll be good, I promise. :-D

All vouched for, but they have a hold right now on new members due to some issues. They will be adding folks as soon as stuff is cleared up :)

I am sorry I didn't know earlier because I think with your love of old school you will go a bit crazy with finding good stuff :)

Hey, no apologizes needed. I think if you had introduced this earlier I probably wouldn't have gotten any work done. ;-) But I'm totally thankfully you vouched for me. I can go crazy after the semester has finished.

So totally off track. I may have brought this up already.(seriously I dont know where I have commented about this). I am of the type that would rather ask/mention and have someone say nah, I would rather not then not. So...in case you missed this post of mine I feel obligated to point it out again. :)

Yeah, I saw that post. I guess I never got around to commenting. A cool idea, but I'll pass for now. And don't worry about bringing this up a bunch of times. I sometimes forget to reply to things so thanks for the reminder.
