Thank goodness I'm not doing NaNoWriMo for real. I'm now a proud owner of a new Xbox 360. Wasn't really my plan to wake up today and go out and buy one, but the new flyers came today and I saw how cheap one was so I couldn't resist. I can justify buying this somehow, but nothing's coming at the moment. ;-)

But I totally see myself playing this thing non-stop once I get some games. I mean, how could I not? Who needs to go outside anyway? Winter's coming; everyone should stay inside where it's nice and warm.

I've only got 6,500 words for nano so far. The good thing is to procrastinate I've been doing housework. So at least all the laundry is done.

What games are you going to get for your 360?

Also, lolz at the Felicia Day singing at PAX post. I'm not familiar with the song but a bunch of other YouTube links came up. One with 'Tycho' grooming Felicia. Can't for the life of me find the Penny Arcade comic. But I remember last year Penny Arcade did a comic about PAX where Tycho wanted to talk to Felica but didn't know what to say. So Gabe asks him what does he want to say and Tycho says "I want to groom her."

Ok. Now that I have revealed my inner geek, I'll go back to my geeky corner now.

Procrastination's not overly helpful but just think how clean your house will be after NaNo. :-D But 6500's good. Lately, I've found myself deleting chapters and re-writing stuff so my numbers haven't gone forward as much as back.

The console came with two games, Panda Kung-Fu and Lego Indiana Jones, but they don't look overly exciting. My sister said she would let me borrow her stuff, but I might have to look into some multi-player games.

I saw a video that was named "Tycho grooms Felicia Day" but had no clue what it was referring to. Hee. I'll have to watch it.

Yay for inner geeks. No need to hide them here. :-D

Ok. No wonder I couldn't find it. It was done at the San Diego Comic Con, not last year's PAX.

I found the comic now.

The vid isn't really that funny but I though it was hilarious because of the comic strip I'd read earlier.

I'm a bit of a spaz when it comes to gaming. (My 3 year old can practically beat me at Wii bowling). But Lego Indiana Jones doesn't seem to inspire me. Sounds like that Lego Batman that's around. Why does it have to be Lego? I like Lego. I just don't know why they have to mix it up with different fandoms for games. I must be missing something.

I liked Lego Star Wars, but yeah, the other games just feel off. I mean, they're cute and all and good gaming for the younger kids since there's no blood and violence, but the actual game play isn't that exciting. I suppose the games are aimed more for younger players. Lego and kid friendly fandoms like Star Wars and Indy; what more could you ask for?

So how cheap are they right now? I haven't looked for a while.

Probably too rich for my blood regardless.

And yes, what games? :)

They're selling for about $277 at Wal-Mart, but if you can find a flyer advertising that price, you can take it to a Futureshop and ask them to match the price and get 10% of the difference off as well. The version I bought is a 60GB Pro and those are going for $299. It's a holiday bundle so it also comes with two games, Panda Kung-Fu and Lego Indiana Jones. Crappy, but they're free. And in comparison, a 120GB iPod is $249, so buying an Xbox isn't too bad.

My sister wants to play Too Human; I might end up buying that and playing on-line with her. No need to see her face-to-face anymore. I can just see her on-line. :-D

Thank goodness I'm no longer in school, too. I would never get anything done. :-D
