Thank goodness I'm not doing NaNoWriMo for real. I'm now a proud owner of a new Xbox 360. Wasn't really my plan to wake up today and go out and buy one, but the new flyers came today and I saw how cheap one was so I couldn't resist. I can justify buying this somehow, but nothing's coming at the moment. ;-)
But I totally see myself playing this thing non-stop once I get some games. I mean, how could I not? Who needs to go outside anyway? Winter's coming; everyone should stay inside where it's nice and warm.

Date: 2008-11-09 01:21 am (UTC)What games are you going to get for your 360?
Also, lolz at the Felicia Day singing at PAX post. I'm not familiar with the song but a bunch of other YouTube links came up. One with 'Tycho' grooming Felicia. Can't for the life of me find the Penny Arcade comic. But I remember last year Penny Arcade did a comic about PAX where Tycho wanted to talk to Felica but didn't know what to say. So Gabe asks him what does he want to say and Tycho says "I want to groom her."
Ok. Now that I have revealed my inner geek, I'll go back to my geeky corner now.

Date: 2008-11-09 02:21 am (UTC)The console came with two games, Panda Kung-Fu and Lego Indiana Jones, but they don't look overly exciting. My sister said she would let me borrow her stuff, but I might have to look into some multi-player games.
I saw a video that was named "Tycho grooms Felicia Day" but had no clue what it was referring to. Hee. I'll have to watch it.
Yay for inner geeks. No need to hide them here. :-D

Date: 2008-11-09 05:19 am (UTC)I found the comic now.

The vid isn't really that funny but I though it was hilarious because of the comic strip I'd read earlier.
I'm a bit of a spaz when it comes to gaming. (My 3 year old can practically beat me at Wii bowling). But Lego Indiana Jones doesn't seem to inspire me. Sounds like that Lego Batman that's around. Why does it have to be Lego? I like Lego. I just don't know why they have to mix it up with different fandoms for games. I must be missing something.

Date: 2008-11-09 02:26 am (UTC)My sister wants to play Too Human; I might end up buying that and playing on-line with her. No need to see her face-to-face anymore. I can just see her on-line. :-D
