Or Happy Pi Day if you prefer. :-)

Saw the Veronica Mars movie tonight. Loved it. Made me wish I had re-watched the series, but I remembered enough to get by. I hope the movie does well that Warner Bros decides that Rob Thomas and Co. can make more. Perhaps a miniseries on Netflix? A TV show is certainly more accessible than a movie. I think a random person going into the movie wouldn't really understand what's going on.

So this is the third TV show or TV show related movie I've watched in a theatre, following Serenity and Doctor Who's 50th anniversary special. So much fun watching someone with a room full of fans. They get all of the jokes. :-)
Ah, Comic Con. So many awesome videos being released. Case in point: Veronica Mars movie sneak peek!

I love the fake trailer at the front. :-D And there's a Buffy reference!

I really hope this movie does really well and they'll get to continue the show in movie format.

I've been keeping away from spoilers, but from the look of things, Veronica and Piz are dating? Why else would he be at the Neptune High reunion? Or did she just drag him along so he could be in the movie? ;-)
Unless by some miracle the CW realizes it has no good TV shows left, tonight was the last episode of Veronica Mars. I can't claim I was a fan right from the first episode, kind of hard to be when no one in Canada was showing the first season, but the show grew on me and who could deny that it wasn't awesome. Heck, it's endorsed by Joss Whedon himself. Who can deny that? :-D

Every fan, I'm sure, is wishing and hoping the CW will change their minds and I hope so to. It's not like Veronica Mars can hop networks though. No one else airs a show like it. But maybe a TV movie? I'd go for that.
I'm confused. Is Veronica Mars renewed? Because the CW is promoting the last two episodes of the season at the "season finale". I assume that means it's coming back because if it wasn't, it would say "series finale" instead. I've heard that there are plans to skip ahead two years so Veronica is in FBI school. Was the idea enough to save the show?

Because really, if the CW doesn't renew Veronica Mars, then they're more stupid than I thought. Not that I watched Gilmore Girls, but with that gone there aren't really any good shows left. I'm not counting the comedies since they seem to do fine. Yeah, I know people love Supernatural, but that's a genre type show, like Smallville. Both may have elements of drama but both shows aren't set in the real world. The story lines on Veronica Mars aren't that far fetched. I mean, you'll never see Veronica fighting demons. :-D

I think the CW needs to promote Veronica Mars differently. Every time I see a promo, I cringe. They make the show seem too serious, or worse, like some cheesy teen girl soap opera. Yes, Veronica Mars is a drama, but it also has humour and mystery mixed in. It makes me glad I never saw promos for Buffy when it was on the WB or UPN. Were they horribly annoying, too? I vaguely remember that the Angel promos put things out of context. "OMG! Angel and Fred are getting together. Oh, wait. No they're not. We just made it seem like they would."

I would be sad if Veronica Mars went away. It's part of the select group of T.V. shows that I watch that I thoroughly enjoy. Shows like Lost, CSI, and Smallville are like junk food for the brain. I watch them so I don't have to think too hard. ;-D
