Ha, Castle had the best Firefly reference ever last night.

But I don't know, the costume looked... off somehow. I think it was the pants. They weren't tight enough. :-D

Yeah, I noticed the lining, too. I thought for a second Castle was wearing a scarf with the costume. :-D

But it's cool that the crew made the effort to make something close to the original. And the exchange between Castle and Alexis is priceless.

Actually, it might be a scarf... I watched the grave yard scene again, and when he's talking about why he's wearing it... I think it does kind of look like it's a scarf... and the browncoats did wear scarves (different coloured scarves apparently denoted different ranks) so it is possible... If it's not, I can't understand why they'd leave a crummy liner like that in the shot...

Okay, I just watched the very beginning again, in as much slow motion as I could to try and see the easter egg Nathan tweeted about, and yeah, I'm pretty confident that it's a scarf, not the liner on the coat.

And man, I must have watched that opening scene a dozen times to catch the easter egg. It's so hard to make out. I wouldn't have noticed it at all if someone hadn't pointed it out.
