While I can't actually be at Comic Con, the Internet is always nice enough to provide enough coverage that I'm okay with my not-being-there-ness.

First up, the official trailer for Stargate Universe:

Finally, plot and stuff, not just random clips. I'm the sort of fan who will watch anything in a fandom, so I'm looking forward to see the next entry in the Stargate franchise. I know the producers are trying something new with this show, but I do hope they manage to keep some of the lightheartedness that is such a big part of Stargate. These shows take themselves seriously, but not too seriously that they can't poke fun at themselves sometimes. I mean, the fandom has been for twelve years now; you have to shake things up a little to keep it fresh, but you can't ignore where you've come from.

And since I do love British television so, the highlight reel for the remake of The Prisoner:

My only complaint: the Village doesn't look crazy enough. The original Village was some a resort in Wales. I wish I could find a better picture of it, but it was messed up. Here, the new Village looks like some beach town from the 1950s. Oh well; I really doubt this new version of The Prisoner can match the wall to wall wackiness of the old one anyway. But at least they're kind enough to keep a few things. There's a brief audio clip of Six saying he's not a number, the phrase "Be seeing you" pops up, and Rover shows up to menace people. And very briefly, there's a shot of Six that matches a shot in the original opening credits. If you're a fan or familiar with the original show, you'll recognize it. :-) I'm still undecided if I want to watch this when it premieres in November though.

And I'm holding out that someone on the Internet will post video of the entire The Middleman panel and the live read-through they did of the unaired series finale. I've only managed to find clips so far and the audio isn't the greatest, but from what I am able to hear, it's awesome. I just love Matt Kessler.

I think one of these days, I will go to Comic Con. I wouldn't be much a geek if I didn't.

I had totally forgotten Number Two changed every episode. I think the concept it strange enough as is; changing the antagonist every episode would just make it more confusing. And it's Ian McKellen; I'd keep him around. :-)

I'll make up my mind as November gets closer. It depends on what else is happening, TV wise. I could be very wrapped up in Stargate Universe for all I know. :-D
