The time rotor ground to a halt with a high pitched squeal. The lights inside the column continued to wink on and off, but the other components refused to spin. )

She is not the fastest, or the most powerful, or even the most experienced. She is not the logical choice. But he is not logical. He is not here for a ship. He is here for a way of life. )

"What are you doing?" the Doctor shouted at the skinny youth that had greeted him at the door. The young man had scampered off to the second level, as though he could hide. "Landing this close to my own TARDIS. Do you want to cause a paradox, hmm?" )
So at the same time I was making up Valentine themed banners for [livejournal.com profile] who_at_50's February fanwork-a-thon I started a side project, which, admittedly, eclipsed the Valentines at one point so I finished the Valentines with a day to go. :-P

But all of that wasted time was worth it. I honestly don't know what inspired this and I really don't know if I'll do anything with it, but I thought I'd share.

Eleven Doctors behind the cut )

I honestly don't know what to do with them now that I'm done. I'm tempted to print it, cut out each Doctor individually and then hang them up in my cubicle, paper doll chain style.
Just something I made for [livejournal.com profile] who_at_50's January fanwork-a-thon-a-thon:

One to Eleven

January is Eleven's month, so I decided to be clever and claim January 11. Y'know, 1/11. So that's the main inspiration for the banner. From One to Eleven. He wears a bow tie now, but he's still the same mad man with a box.
Just finished watching "The Tenth Planet", the last episode of the First Doctor's era. I'm determined to watch every episode of Classic Doctor Who at some point. One classic Doctor down, six to go!

Some rambling about the First Doctor's era )

I'm eager to start on the Second Doctor's era, but I'm super annoyed that the majority of his run is lost. I can almost count on one hand the amount of complete serials that exist for Two. So, sooner rather than later I'll be onto the Third Doctor and the colour era!
